History¶
The First Age
The Second Age The elves were originally living in small tribes and families, but after an invading force of orcs attacked the Vaegirian Forest in 1313 SA, the elves united behind one wood elf warrior to defend their lands. They successfully banished the orc army and the warrior called Vaegir was named the first king of Vaegiria and their nation was formed. Vaegihr married a high elf, thus uniting the sub races further.
After a few years of political unrest, a wood elf druid called Malira took action in 1714 SA. Malira was a known and powerful opposition to the high elf ruler, Galadan. One day, Malira cursed Galadan's twin daughters by using powerful druidic magic. The twins were cursed to become animals, changing to a new form every year. Galadan and his most skilled magic users tried day and night to find a way to dispel the curse, but to no avail. They only discovered how to predict which animals the twins would become and at which point. The twins became more animalistic in their behavior as the time went by and at some point they escaped. This event escalated the already tense political climate to a full on civil war between high- and wood elves. The high elves successfully banished many wood elves to the southern jungles.
Galadan introduced a new law that prohibits harming any animals that could be the twins.
This means every year a certain type of animal is considered forbidden to kill. This law pertains to the entire Vaegirian Forest and outsiders ought to know the animal of the year, when entering the forest even to this day, as Galadan's law is still in place.
After The Battle of The Gods the animosity between the sub races of elves decreased significantly and many wood elves returned to Vaegiria.

Humans¶
There is no typical human. An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall and weigh from 125 to 250 pounds. Human skin shades range from nearly black to very pale.
A lot of humans have a dash of nonhuman blood. revealing hints of elf. ore, or other lineages. Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and rarely live even a single century.
Humans are the most adaptable and ambitious people among the common races. They have widely varying tastes, morals, and customs in the many different lands where they have settled. When they settle, though, they stay: they build cities to last for the ages, and great kingdoms that can persist for long centuries. An individual human might have a relatively short life span, but a human nation or culture preserves traditions with origins far beyond the reach of any single human's memory.
