Dandos

The city is constructed on a large hill at the foot of a mountain. It is surrounded by enormous golden fields with several wooden windmills. 100 ft. tall walls made of light stone surrounds the city and forms a perfect circle around it. The city is constructed in a spiral with the main road going around the hill to the top where the halls of House Calvarion is overlooking the city. The is so horses easily can travel from the bottom to the top and vice versa.

Most building are constructed with a foundation of stone and rock, but otherwise made of wood - except the clay tiled roofs. The buildings are intricately carved with motifs of horses.

Dandos is actually one of the younger capital cities, but it the hill it is built on has been a congregation site for the nomadic people of The Golden Strait for thousands of years. Dandos was founded in 644 3A after their former capital was destroyed in an orcish invasion of Aelmyr (The Green Plague of 642 3A).

The population of Dandos varies much by season, as many people of the Golden Strait still live nomadic lifestyles most of the year. The population spikes significantly during festivals as well, and people and races of all kinds can be found.

The majority of people are human.
