Kharybdiz - The Turmoil Vortex

Kharybdiz, also known as 'The Turmoil Vortex', is the plane of Tempest. It is governed by Knutra - Goddess of Tempest and is where many dwarves go in the afterlife.

Most of the plane consists of an enormous whirlpool and a dangerous sea. Landmasses and islands are constantly being shifted around in an everlasting carousel of destruction. The close to the whirlpool's center you are, the faster everything spins as destruction rampages. In the outer parts of the whirlpool, it is possible to exist fairly peacefully - at least for a few thousand years, before eventually being pulled towards certain destruction.

Inhabitants

Anyone following the tenets of Knutra, and is deemed strong enough will be permitted passage to this plane in the afterlife.

Due to the events of The Creation of The Dwarven Species, every dwarven soul is permitted into the plane due to the hardships their ancestor's souls endured, which still causes tremors of trauma through generations.
